Q: I heard there is always an excessive wait to get in, is that true?
No there is not always an excessive wait to get in and actually, most nights the wait is under one hour. Some nights are much busier than others. Please view our calendar before buying tickets for a ballpark estimate of a wait time on a specific date. Our longest wait has never exceeded 3 hours 15 minutes from the back of the line to the entrance of the haunt. This wait only happens on our busiest Saturdays between 8-9:30pm. Arrive earlier than 8pm for a minimized wait.
Our main lobby, which is part of our general admission line has been rebuilt from the ground up for the 2022 season to bring our patrons even more entertainment including an immersive environment complete with 360 sound and lighting effects, as well as live actor performances that are a true extension of the storyline and the haunted attraction itself.
As part of our lobby upgrades, we added short walls so you can rest your feet while waiting in line.
Lastly, if you do not want any wait time at all, VIP tickets are available and let you skip the general admission line in its entirety, no matter the wait time.

Q: Are there any discounts?
$5 discount is available to active and inactive members of the military. Please present your military ID or VA card when you purchase. Available at the ticket counter only. Thank you for your service!
Group discounts are also available when buying 15+ tickets online.
Q. Does DementedFX accept credit cards?
A. Yes, We accept all major credit cards. We encourage you to purchase your tickets online.
Q. When are you open?
A. See dates and times we are open on our calendar.
Q. Where can we park and how much is it?
A. Free parking is available behind the building in our parking lot and on the street.
Q. Is DementedFX wheelchair accessible?
A. Yes, we have designed our haunt to accommodate wheelchairs and scooters.
Q. I have an injury or condition that does not allow me to do some physical activities, will I be able to complete the haunt?
A. Yes, if you come to an area/obstacle that looks like something you cannot physically do, please tell one of our actors and they will guide you through a secret passageway to meet your group on the other side. You will then be able to continue on your way.
Q. Is DementedFX opened in inclement weather?
A. Yes, we are an indoor attraction and feature an indoor line area.
Q. Does DementedFX have security?
A. Yes, at least one Holyoke police officer and several private security officers will be stationed throughout the parking lot and within the haunted house. In addition we have installed security cameras in every room of the haunted house.
We have zero tolerance for trouble. We want everyone to have a fun and safe time.
Q. Are there strobe lights? or fog machines?
A. Yes to both.
Q. Are the monsters or characters allowed to intentionally touch us?
A. Absolutely not . . . and we ask that you not attempt to touch any of our cast members. If a cast member(zombie or other) blocks your way they are trying to keep you from bumping into the group in front of you. This is to give the triggers and scares within the next section time to reset. Please, wait patiently if this happens and do not touch the cast member. If you intentionally touch a cast member or push them when they are trying to slow your group they will break character, step aside and inform security. We will remind you of these things during a short safety briefing prior to entry.
NOTE: Brushes with actors and props are possible since you are in a dimly lit narrow hallway for parts of the experience.
Your visit will be recorded by night vision cameras for the safety of our staff and guests.
Q. Any clothing restrictions?
A. Please no flip flops or loose footwear.
Q. Do you sell souvenirs?
A. We have a limited number of t-shirts and sweatshirts as well as several other souvenirs available in our gift shop at the end of the walkthrough.
Q. Can we take pictures?
A. Photography of any sort is not allowed inside the attraction. You are welcome to take photos outside the building and while in line.
Q. Are there any other restrictions?
A. No smoking! No lighters! No food or beverages! No pets! (not even lizards or snakes!) No laser pointers or flashlights! No Halloween costumes! No weapons!
- Please no drunken or disorderly conduct.
- Our rules are for your safety. You will be asked to leave if you choose to ignore our rules.
Q. Should we be concerned about injuries?
A. First and foremost, following rules will ensure a safe and memorable experience.
Please know, however, that your ticket is a license to enter at your own risk. All patrons assume all risk and danger incidental to DementedFX before, during or after the haunt experience. By entering DementedFX, you waive any injury or talent claims and accept these terms and conditions.
Q. Should we be concerned if we have any health conditions including pregnancy?
A. We are not imposing restrictions regarding your state of health; but we do ask that you please use your best judgment and refer to your doctor if you do have concerns.
Q. What about age restrictions?
A. Due to the nature and strong themes of our attractions, DementedFX is recommended for adults and teens. This show is not suitable for children. Admission of children under 13 is at the discretion of the parent(s). As a parent, you know your child better than anyone else. However, children pay the same ticket price as adults.
Babies and toddlers are not permitted under any circumstances.
Q. How long is it?
A. The haunted house is an intense walking attraction that will take roughly 30+ minutes to complete.
Q. What if I decide I’m too scared to continue?
A. We have many clearly marked emergency exits for anyone needing to leave before the end. Calling the safe word "SAFETY" will tell actors near by to break character and escort you to safety.
Q. Refunds?
A. There are no refunds.
